Our family blog is finally up and running!!! It will take me a little while to post everything, but it is a great start!
This is from our recent trip to San Diego, where we spent the week having at the beach, Sea World, and Disneyland. We were able to go with Josh's whole family, and stay in a beach house (which was so cooool).

Our Story

Our story began at the most unlikely of places. I was working at Powerhouse gym on
Stapley Road (it is not there anymore) when I met this man named Barlow.
Barlow came in one morning and told me that his son would be coming in that day to join him.
Not too much longer after that someone came through the door to check in,
and man was he goooood looking!!! He said my name is Josh and I am meeting my dad here.
When he handed me his keys I saw that he had a vial on his keychain and I thought
"oh yeah, he is totally LDS",so I introduced myself, and told him that I was also mormon.
He was pretty happy about that because I was obviously the most beautiful girl he had
ever seen (or will ever see). He told me that he had just returned from the
Bahia Blanca, Argentina mission. "So I thought he's hot,
he's a returned missionary, and he is single...he is sooo mine"
...and I was right.
We dated for about five months before he proposed to me .
THE PROPOSAL
For anyone who knows Josh they know that he is quietly hilarious. Which is sometimes
not so funny. About two weeks before he asked me to marry him we went to the temple
to sit and talk at "our bench" on the east side of the temple. He was acting so strange that night
and of course I thought "he is going to ask me to marry him", and I was so excited.
So all of the sudden Josh got down on one knee, took my hand and said,
"will you...go out with me on Friday?" NOT SO FUNNY! Well this torment continued f
or the next two weeks. So the week after the "fauxposal" he invited me out on a date
for the weekend (which he always did, he is such a gentleman).
We were going to one of his friends wedding receptions. When we arrived
he began to introduce me to all of his friends and ward members attending the reception.
He introduced me as his girlfriend, and would make comments to me quietly that he wishes
he could say fiancé. Well needless to say that my ability to handle this prolonged torture had come to an end I started to cry. I am sure he felt a little bad, but I think it made his little plan even better. The reception was coming to an end and it was time for the bride to throw the bouquet. I stayed seated and Josh asked me to go up. I declined since I wasn't with the bride or the groom. With much encouragement I finally agreed to go up, but I stayed in the very back. The bride took the bouquet above her head, counted to three, then turned around and said ,"Where is she?". She made her way through the crowd and handed me her bouquet. I turned around and Josh was on one knee with MY ring in his hand. I thought I was going to faint. He stood up and whispered in my ear "will you marry me?". We left the reception soon after that. On the way to the car he asked if I was going to answer him, of course I said yes. We were married two months later in the Mesa Temple
